Travica Falls is a very beautiful place. It’s a tiny lake surrounded by pumping waterfalls. Surrounding the small lake is a reasonable slither of land, which is mostly sand. On the south west side of the lake is a river. First we walked down a path and popped through bush to see the waterfalls. They were very loud but we got used to them. First we had a picnic, which was very yummy. Then we walked along a wooden boardwalk which was a few centimeters under the water. The water was very cold! When the boardwalk ended we were still a few centimeters under the water. There was a tree growing in the water and it must’ve been very healthy. We saw a water snake slither past, it was so cool! Then we went for a small walk under the giant highway bridge. Mum kept on slipping into the water! When we got back we found a place to sit down and got ice cream. I saw people jump into the river and swim across. I decided that I wanted to do that, so I did. The water was fast so I went on a bit of an angle. It was really deep, so I didn’t look down. When I got to the end I got a bit scared, but I was ok in the end. It was great! Travica falls was amazing, I would definitely go there again.

Mila, the falls look just amazing. That is one of the most beautiful things I have seen. I hope you were very careful swimming there. Sounds like a fantastic day.
