The amazing mall of Singapore! By Mila

Singapore was not what I expected. And if all those super cool buildings we’re just offices and hotels then how amazing , would the malls be?!?! so that’s why I was very excited to go to Singapore mall!

We found our way through the bustling city of Singapore, at early morning so that it wouldn’t get to hot. So we were lucky that it was raining.because it cooled everything down. We went through an under ground mall like area, which was kind of like office building. There was also a band coming down an escalator, but they were still playing!!! It was awfully loud. We walked amoungst the looming buildings for a while until we got a wonderful view of the lake and an odd shaped dome in the water.

The dome was right beside a big building which I was guessing was a mall. We went inside and discovered what an umbrella cleaner was. And by my first glance at the inside of the mall I could already see how cool and exciting everything and everyone looked. It was HUGE and there was hardly any shops taking up the space, and all the shops looked so fancy. I was already wanting to go and explore it all!

First we went to go see the dome. We went out to the deck we're ewe could see it. There was a path way that lead up the the dome but it was closed, there was a sign on there though so we went over to read it. It said to go to the other entrance, the one down inside the Apple Store. So we took the elevator down stairs were there was a bit more stuff than down stairs, and I was kind of lost in confusion, like we're on earth the Apple Store was? But it turns out it was right in front of me. We went inside, and it just looked like your usual Apple Store, with weird it cool advertisement of there products. But there was an escalator at the back just waiting for us. We followed Dad over, and onto the escalator, once we emerged from it, the first thing I noticed was that we were in a dome. There was a huge tv and lots of Apple Watches, that people were trying out. We sat down and watched the huge tv for a while and soon we went out, but it was super cool.

We wandered around and soon found some pretty cool things, like the river in the mall, and the huge flying rabbits for lunar new year which is the Chinese new year. We waited till it was dark and the. Walked outside to see the light show. They started it after a while and it was amazing!!! They sprayed water and made it misty so that they could project pictures onto it.

After that we went home, tired but overflowing with fun. I knew that that was probably one of the best malls in the world!
