Taipei gondola
On one of our days in Taipei we went to a
gondola up to the top of a mountain.
There were three stops to different places.
The first one was a zoo, the next place was a temple and the last one was an information centre where you could eat and see the view. We got a glass bottom gondola where we could see through below us.
First we went to the very top of the mountain where we got candy floss. A special machine made the candy floss. There were so many shapes and sizes to choose from and we chose a flower. We got a snack from one of the many convenience stores. The next stop we were going to was the zoo.
When we came into the zoo we had to go on a train that took us through the zoo to the entrance. When we came into the zoo we saw a huge avery filled with different types of birds. We saw flamingos and we saw a bird that looked very similar to a peacock. It made a very weird sound. One of my favourite animals was the Chimps, because they were funny to watch. I also liked the white rhinos because I had never seen one before.
After seeing all the animals we went up to the temple. To get up to the temple we walked up a path. When we came up to the temple there was a big bell, I rang it over and over and over and over again until mum told me to stop. Then we went to catch the gondola down. We waited for a long time to get a gondola because everyone was going down like us. The attendant called up a free gondola just for us. We hopped into the gondola and it was getting dark.
After the ride down we waited for our bus to come, soon it came and we went home.
It was really fun and I had never been on a see through gondola before. The zoo was
the best zoo I had ever been to!
THE END

Hazel - the zoo looked fun! I can see why you loved the monkeys. They are so quick whereas the Hippo - somewhat slower on land anyway.
The photos really tell another stories. Thank you for sharing them on your Blog.
Loved your writing Hazel.
It sounds like you really enjoyed your day Haze. I think I would find a glass bottom gondola quite scary.
