Me and my family went to Pamukkale.
Pamukkale is a place with lots of hot pools and they were all made out of limestone. Some of the pools were cold and some were hot and some were lukewarm.
Limestones are white and look like crystals. It was very cold up on the limestone and the limestones had lots and lots of terraces. The pools only came up to your knee. There were 17 pools!
I climbed up a terrace, it was like big steps. I went up so high that the security guard blew his whistle and yelled at me to get down!
The limestone looked very slippery but its not, its as hard as rock.
There was running water which was very hot but I got used to it. The running water went past all of the pools.
I really enjoyed it. I hope I will go another year!

My goodness, Hazel, what an amazing place. The terraces are beautiful. What fun to go in the pools and discover whether they were hot or cold or lukewarm. I am sure I could have spent a whole day there. Sounds like you loved it Haze. Nana and Granddad.
What a country of contrasts. Snow in the hills and hot pools in the limestone. What fun😀
