A couple days after doing the walk in the valley of waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen, we went to the gondola ride there which would take us up Mount Schilthorn. When we got to the top we would get to go outside in the snow and look around.
The gondola ride was separated into five stops, the very bottom to the very top! Each ride took around five to ten minutes and there was only one gondola per section. The last two rides gave us great views of the snowy mountain! The ground was completely white!
When we got to the very top it was snowing. Our hair was dotted with snowflakes and it was super cold outside.
We found out that this spot was used to film a James Bond movie! There was a museum that was themed James Bond too. In fact, the whole place was James Bond themed, the toilets, the restaurant and there were even cardboard figures of him outside in the snow area!
We were 2,970 metres above sea level!
We spent a lot of time outside in the snow, we made a mini snowman and tried to do a snowball fight.
After around two hours we hopped back on a gondola and went down the mountain, but only for one stop. This stop was called the “Thrill”. I think that it was named that because of the Thrill walk that you can go on at this stop. The Thrill walk is a walk along the side of the mountain, with a long drop below us. As you walk through, you will come across many different activities. Two of these were, a glass floor and a metal tightrope. The tight rope had a net underneath and a handle that you could hold onto to help you keep your balance. This walk was super fun!
We also noticed lots of icicles on that walk, they were hanging on the side of the barrier. We broke them off and let them fall down into the snow below.
After doing the thrill walk we went on the gondola again, this time coming out of snow. We decided to skip the next gondola and walk to the next stop instead. To get there, we walked through a paddock and a forest!
After around 30 minutes of walking, we were at the stop. We caught the gondola down this time and it took us to the very start.
This was when our adventure ended, I had so much fun and really enjoyed my time in the snow! I hope that I get to go back again someday.

Those photos are absolutely amazing. I am unable to get the story about the rafting for some reason. Will try again tomorrow.
What a great idea for a tour, having people act out the parts of people from the various times and circumstances. Gosh history, history, history. Very interesting about the dragons. That would be very cool. Did you get a tee shirt? I really love the look of the puppets. Wow!
Oh, you have travelled in the footsteps of James Bond. What a amazing adventure. You were brave to attempt the Thrill. Not sure if I could. It does sound so lovely and very pretty. What a big day. You are doing a wonderful job taking all those lovely photos. Love Nana and Granddad.
