I didn’t think we were going to go to Belgium very long, or that it would even be very fun, but it turns out I was very wrong.
The first place we went to were these fun bikes on rails. The place used old train tracks and put lots of odd bike shaped things on them that you had to pedal.
At the halfway point we went to a huge monastery. Something about the information area reminded me of Gandhi’s house.
On the way back it was me and Hazel's turn to pedal. We were lucky because it went downhill for us.
Next we went to a cute little town called Dinant. We had lunch there, very yummy. Saxophones were invented there by Antoine-Joseph "Adolphe" Sax. They are names after him.
On the way back to France we bought Belgium chocolate from a kind lady in a rural village. She only spoke French so it was fun interacting with her and choosing the chocolate. She gave us heaps extra for free! That was our time in Belgium, I wished we had stayed there!
Here we were, after our long trip through Asia and Europe we were coming home. Our plane to Auckland was going to start boarding any minute now and I was sitting in the airport with my family. We all
