Some time ago when we were still in London we visited two different museums and the tower bridge in one exciting trip. The two museums were the National History museum and a Space Museum.

I remember that it was raining that day so it was a good thing that the majority of our activities were indoor. In the National History museum we mostly learnt about dinosaurs and animals. There were different exhibits for each type of animal like mammals, underwater creatures, birds, reptiles and insects. The Space museum was more interactive and contained information about humans and how everyone is different. Hence the name, the museum also had a big exhibit about space. We learnt about the universe itself and what it would be like to live on a spacecraft. I for one, would not want to live in space.

After the museums we went to the tower bridge which we walked across in the rain. The whole time we were worried that the bridge would open up! On the other side of the bridge we saw lots of statues of animals wearing human clothing. We got lots of pictures with them. One of our favourites was a rhino and dog playing chess. We also reenacted photos in front of the tower bridge that had been taken twelve years ago.

So, after a very wet walk through a walkway beside the river we decided to head home. We had learnt lots at the museums and had a nice time walking by the river despite the rain. It was a great day out.
