Montenegro

We spent one week in a beautiful country called Montenegro! While we were there we visited two different towns, Kotor and Herceg Novi. 

In Montenegro there are lots and lots of beaches! They all have crystal clear water and most have pebbles instead of sand. We swam almost every day at these amazing beaches, but they did get very crowded. 

One popular activity in Montenegro’s beaches is kayaking. We hired some kayaks and one paddle board to use around a beach. We paddled across the water from one side of the beach to another. At the other side there was a large submarine bunker! It was massive! The walls were covered in stones and there were large doors on either side. 

While in Montenegro we visited many old towns. The first one that we saw was the most memorable, it was very big for a start and had a lot of pretty lights decorating it. Shops lined the streets and you could walk along the walls as well. We visited this old town in the evening which made it look much more magnificent. Most of the other old towns that we visited were on the way to the beach and we would walk through them!

Because of all the beaches there was lots of seafood in Montenegro, mussels, Squid, fish.. It's all just so yum! 

We all had a great time in Montenegro! There were so many amazing things to do and I really enjoyed myself!
