Monaco - By Mila

During our week long stay in Nice, we decided to spend one day in the country Monaco.

We chose a hot and sunny day. To get there we drove on the bus which took an hour. Outside there was beautiful scenery of the coastline and villages and towns that kept me busy. When the bus finished its drive we hopped out in Monaco. We walked through a lush and shaded park to get to Casino square. We walked around the grand building to the other side which was the Casino Royale and then back again. We were all starting to get hungry so we went to a fancy mall and got a snack. Fortunately for us there was a small park beside the mall, that's where we ate. Next we went to the Japanese gardens. It was only getting hotter so we decided to go to the beach and even though we didn’t bring togs Hazel still jumped in for a swim.   After her swim we walked to the Marina and looked at all of the fancy boats.  One of them was worth 50 million dollars.   We walked to the train station and something happened that I did not expect. The train was so busy! People were yelling and trying to shut the doors and somebody got pushed out! Hazel's hair got stuck in a zipper of someone’s bag and then Mum and Hazel were crushed in a big mob on the train.  Luckily they managed to get off again.   We waited for the next train but it was exactly the same.   Dad had a plan. We took the other train that was going the opposite direction and went a couple of stops, got off and got on the other train before it got too busy. Other people had that plan as well.

When we got home we were tired, but the fun we had that dad overweighted it all.
