Marseille France -
On our way to Salon De Provence we stopped at our town called Marseille in France. We dropped our bags off at a luggage holder and went off to explore the town.
First we went to a church up a hill. To get there we had to walk up and through the streets. The Church was called the Basilica of Notre-Dame of la Garde. It was very magnificent looking with a tall tower shooting out from it. It's a very large white church on the outside, with more colour inside of it. Outside the church you can get an amazing view of the town!
After the church we made our way back down the hill and found a square with a carousel. My mum and dad had already been to Marseille before with me and I had gone on this exact carousel with my mum. So we decided to try and recreate a photo that had been taken around twelve years ago! After recreating the photo we continued down the street to some restaurants for lunch.
In Marseille it is very popular to have mussels so we called see restaurants selling them all along the coast. We soon had ordered our mussels and were sitting down at our restaurant of choice. When the mussels arrived they looked and smelt delicious. They tasted delicious too!
After a very yum lunch we headed back towards the luggage holding store to collect our bags. Marrseille had been a really great stop and I had enjoyed my short time there.
