Lauterbrunnen is a part of Switzerland known for its waterfalls and gondola rides up the mountains. On our second day in Switzerland, we went on a walk in between two of these mountains whicg had waterfalls running off them. This walk was part of Lauterbrunnen. There are 72 waterfalls! Some of them are as high as 400 metres! This valley is the most famous waterfall valley in Switzerland.
As we walked, we saw many animals with bells around their necks, cows and sheep! As they walked in their paddock, their bells would chime. The full walk was 6.7 kilometres but we didn't walk the whole track.
In the distance, we saw lots of people paragliding up near the waterfalls!
Something else that we saw on this walk was stalls selling cheeses and filled rolls. There would be no one manning the store, there was an eftpos machine on a table for people to pay! It was all based on honesty!
This walk was really fun and it had amazing viewsThe only downside is near the end of the walk, it started to rain heavily! Luckily though, we had brought some umbrellas. If you ever go to Switzerland I would really recommend going there, you get to see so many waterfalls and you can even go inside a waterfall cave!

What amazing scenery Rubes. I just loved the photos and your description. It is hard to imagine so many waterfalls. Isn't that fantastic that those interesting stalls run on a complete honesty system. I just love that. Nana and Granddad.
What great photos of your run Rubes. You look very relaxed. What a fantastic thing to do with your Dad. Very well done.
Amazing waterfalls, and I love the sound of the cowbells. Good job you had the umbrella, although I notice your Dad kept his sunglasses on all the time to try and trick the camera into thinking it was sunny 😎 🤣
