Lake Como, Italy - By Mila

We spent two nights in a small village on Lake Como to break up our trip from Italy to Switzerland. Despite the rain it was such a spectacular Lake with mountains surrounding it as if blocking out all of the plain lands behind them.


We spent time walking and exploring around the Lake. We saw a friendly swan and some interesting creatures we later found out were called Coypu. They look a but like a platypus crossed with a rat.


We had our last gelato but I decided to have a blueberry yoghurt instead and mum had a tiramisù.


We visited an art gallery where the artist painted scenes of Lake Como.


It was a peaceful area and it was truly a privilege to stay there.

Lake Como looks lovely Moo and I can imagine that you all appreciated a quieter, more peaceful day. Very interesting about the Coypu. That's a strange sounding creature. Great descriptive report Mila. Love Nana and Granddad.
