Cat Ba is a small island across the sea, its about two hours north from Hanoi. It has beaches and lots of small little island's that you can boat around, you can also kayak around caves that scatter here and there around the tiny island's. The island's are mostly made out of lime stone and have been pushed out of the ground years and years ago. We enjoyed the restaurants and only really went to different ones for lunch ( which was usually a smoothie for me and hazel, I would also have fresh spring rolls, hazel will have baguettes and so would the others) the other place we would go to is called yummy two ( I would definitely recommend). W
e loved the beaches, they were extra fun and had super clear water. Cat Ba was just so amazing, probably my most favorite place in Vietnam.

We went on another boating trip in Cat Ba as well. We kayaked in caves, that were much more spacious than the ones in Phuket. Me and mum went on a kayak together, Ruby and a person called Lucas went on a boat together. Lucas was Dutch. And last but not least Hazel and Dad went on a boat together

as well as kayaking we went hiking and exploring caves. The hike was wonderful, it was full of exiting things, but now I'm thinking, what if we hadn't have noticed all these amazing things if dad hadn't suggest to play a game about, "who ever finds ten different things gets a prize!!!"...
The caves were dark and mysterious on the outside but they were fun and bright in the inside. They had all kinds on twists and curves in all corners, it was probably the biggest cave I had probably ever seen!

Wow, I can see why you are so impressed with this beautiful place Mila. It makes me want to go there. You have recommended some great things to do and see and great places to eat, very important. The caves sound amazing and Dad's game was a good idea. Who won? Thanks for the report Moo.
That beach looks beautiful Mila and the food is sounding delicious. May have to put this on my bucket list!
Smart dad thinking up games to make you stop and really look around! X
Amazing guys!
