Borneo has amazing wildlife full of interesting creatures. When you think of Borneo's wildlife you probably think of crocodile's, proboscis monkeys, and orang utans (man of the forest). But there so much more than just crocodiles or proboscis monkeys. So if you want to learn more, keep reading to find out!!!

We saw our first crocodile when we we boating down a little river. We were hoping to see a crocodile because was a crocodile in this river called the legendary crocodile. The reason the crocodile was named that was because he was 50 years old! So when boated down slowly and cautiously down the river. That's when we saw a crocodile snout! The crocodile was about 4 meters long!

When we saw our first proboscis monkey it was swinging in the trees with a few others. It was hard to make out at first but then I saw it. We used the binoculars to get a closer look and his nose was huge! We found out that only the males have the long nose's.

We saw another kind of monkey to, they were called macaques. They were smaller that the proboscis monkeys but they weren't smaller than squirrels ( except for the bands who clinged onto there mothers and were so cute! We mostly saw short tailed macaques p, but when we were lucky we could see some long tailed ones.

On the night tour we went on we saw an owl, a sleeping hawk, a sleeping king fisher ( which got so close to me that I almost touched it ) a lot of baby crocodile's and a small snake called a stick snake. We saw heaps of bugs to, such as: tractor millipedes another millipede that looked it was made out of silk. We had so much fun investigating Borneos wild life.

and I am seriously jealous of you encountering so many different species in the wild. Lovely memories for you all. whatever next? I can’t wait.

Excellent photography team. Thanks for telling us all about the amazing creatures that you saw Mila. Was it raining? I think the birds would be my favourite thing to see. Crocodiles, monkeys and snakes are pretty awesome too.
