On one of our London days Hazel, Dad and I went to London for a day out while my mum and Mila visited Hampton Court. We took trains into the city and buses on our way out.
During our stay in the city, we had the opportunity to visit two Art Galleries, they were called Tate Britain and Tate Modern. As their names suggest, Tate Modern showcased modern art while Tate Britain exhibited older art pieces. We were thoroughly impressed by both Galleries, but Tate Modern had some amusing art pieces, such as a plain dark blue painting.
I had an amazing time at the British Museum. The Egyptian exhibit was especially fascinating - we explored ruins and statues and even got to see mummies and sarcophagi up close. One highlight was the Rosetta Stone, which had the same message written in three different languages: Demotic, Greek, and Hieroglyphics. This stone played a crucial role in deciphering Hieroglyphics. Additionally, the museum had an impressive collection of Ancient Greek artefacts, including pottery, miniature statues, and even a temple. It was a wonderful experience.
I had a wonderful time in London! Following our day trip, we visited our relatives' home for dinner. Spending the day with Hazel and my dad was lovely, and I'm confident they enjoyed it as well.

What a wondetful report about London Ruby. The galleries sound amazing and thank you for explaining the difference between the two.
